The salt and gypsum mines from Dominican Republic are located in the Barahona province to the south of Neyba Valley. They are formed of rich layers of salt and gypsum. The estimated gypsum reserve is from 800 millions of metric tons, this means it is the second most important deposit in all Latin America.
The gypsum mine from CTC has a 921 hectares and it is in the province of Independencia. It has a daily production capacity of 1.000 metric tons of high quality and purity material. The mine has an ideal and privileged geographic location since it is only 50 km from the Barhona Port and this makes it easier and accessible to export its goods. The company also has personnel highly qualified and a fleet of trucks to move our material.
